Want to cut costs but not quality? Northern Flags can help you do just that.
Northern Flags are focussed on innovation and excellence but along with other companies in the market we have really begun focussing on price issues in recent years, even more so in the recent months.
Northern Flags and our parent company, Faber Vlaggen, are determined to preserve our competitive position in the market without sacrificing quality; in response to this we are moving part of our current production in Markelo, Amsterdam to Asia.
We are currently working with a local partner in Thailand who has years of experience in fabric printing to ensure that the move goes smoothly. Other steps that we have taken to ensure that the quality is maintained is by creating a new unit in Markelo, Amsterdam called 'Faber Services' to safeguard the standard of service that we already provide. We have experienced staff from Markelo moving over to Thailand to assist with the production unit and ensure that everything runs to the same high standard in the Far East as it does in Europe.
Alongside Faber Pro-Motion, Northern Flags has distinguished ourselves in the market and with these exciting new developments we intend to continue to do. By cutting our costs dramatically we can cut yours too, allowing you to continue promoting and marketing your product or events with high quality large format print even in these difficult financial times.
Northern Flags introduce an innovative new product for 2009 - the striking effects and potential of 'Light Up'.
'Light Up' has the chance to make the ordinary turn into the extraordinary, allowing photographic images to light up and come to life. Special Fluorescent pigmentation has been added to the ink formulation, which results in the image reacting to UV lights and producing stunning colour change, making your product or brand really light up and stand out.
Northern Flags knows that our clients have varied and developing needs and we are always looking for new ideas and innovative solutions for them.
Northern Flags and our parent group, Faber are the principal manufacturer of flags, banners, parasols and special products of which 'Light Up' is the latest.
'Light Up' can be used internally or externally on flags, banners and parasols. This exciting product has been created using the Bright Sign Technology; a world-wide patented colour system; Northern Flags have the exclusive rights to apply this technology to textile.
As long as you are using UV Active hardware then the possibilities are endless with 'Light Up'. Bright Sign campaigns across Europe have been big hits; make your marketing campaigns as successful. Your products, brands and events deserve to stand out, 'Light Up' makes this possible in a dynamic new way.
This month, we're bringing you some revitalised products, the Super Airflex and the Premier Airflex lamppost banner systems. Unrivalled in performance in every weather condition, the Super Airflex and the Premier Airflex can withstand 120-mph wind force.
Great for use at one off events such as festivals, fairs and markets or for use all year round to create vibrant and exciting backdrops for town and city centres.
No more short-lived promotional runs due to destroyed banners. The Super Airflex and the Premier Airflex come with their own unique and patented 'cantilever' arm and casting design which hold the banner under constant tension. The force from the wind is transferred from the banner to the fibreglass arms, which then flex and dissipate the energy. This all-important feature gives added longevity to the life of your banner, protecting it from unnecessary wear and tear it also ensures that the lamppost column itself has less pressure exerted onto it.
The Super Airflex is for use on a larger diameter lamp column where a large banner is preferred. The Premier Airflex, proving to be our most popular, has all the features of the Super Airflex but in a more compact form; a smaller, more versatile system for use on small to mid sized lamppost columns.
For more information on the Super Airflex and the Premier Airflex and how they could work for you, speak to our Airflex expert, Rob Kershaw.
A brave team from our client, Black Sheep Brewery, has announced that they intend to take on the challenge of riding to the Arctic Circle. They are hoping to raise £25,000 to go towards the Breast Cancer Suite at the Friarage Hospital at Northallerton.
Their journey will start in the spring of next year with the team of travellers including National Sales Manager Brian Smith, National Account Manager On-Trade Allan Russell, Brewing Engineer Mark Allison and friend of the brewery John Oldridge. They will be battling the distance on their motorbikes, it is through a passion for biking and Black Sheep's long history of supporting local charities that The Arctic Circle Challenge came about.
Judith Curtis, a nurse at Friarage Hospital said: "We are thrilled that Black Sheep will be able to help Friarage hospital and in turn the local community in such a big way. The money will buy essential new technology, and with new microscopes and attachments it will not only help us diagnose Breast Cancer, but will enable to use the equipment in conjunction with teaching. This donation really will benefit women of the community and we are very thankful to Black Sheep Brewery."
Here at Northern Flags we're trying to do our bit by donating 16 flags complete with the Big Push Up Arctic Circle logo and colours, that will join the Black Sheep Flock on their journey and on outings before the event next year. Keep checking back for updates on how they're doing with their fundraising and to see our flags in full glory.
